Our community is a self-built and self-managed Homeowners Association with an extra Common House for meetings, sharing meals, hosting private events, and enjoying community events.

Any home sale allows the new homeowner to become a Board Member of the Blueberry Hill Cohousing Association.
We are a community of single family homes and we can sell our home to anyone we choose (as there are no community restrictions for sellers or buyers). We comply with the Fairfax County, State of Virginia, and United States federal guidelines as a residential HOA.
We have long-term rentals of a home, room, or basement apartment to non-owner residents who can be actively involved in our community decisions, activities, meals, and events. Owners and residents actively self-manage our community HOA.
We organize a variety of events throughout the year, including common meals, outdoor work days to beautify our neighborhood, indoor work days to clean and fix our Common House, and an annual Blueberry Hill Day for fun.
Many residents host their own private event like birthdays, anniversary, musical events, and meals in the Common House.
Finally, we participate in the Mid-Atlantic Cohousing tour as interested visitors learn more about our various Cohousing communities in the D.C. Metro area.
